Intel is set to release the new Raptor Lake processors globally on November 20th. The company hasn’t increased the number of P-cores, but they have developed these with E-cores that help with multitasking. You’ll be able to enjoy up to 24 cores on an i9 chip! Intel will also support DDR4 going forward in addition to DDR5 adoption becoming more widespread, and you can use these on 600-series motherboards.

Intel’s newest flagship PC part, Raptor Lake processor, will cost $589 and has a 12 core/24 thread configuration. The best part about this CPU is that it is only $20 more than the price cut for the 12900K but also $200 less than when it was launched last year. For the most part, we are seeing increases in pricing for PC parts across the board with not just tiny increases.
