The final update of ‘Warzone Season 5’ now known as Warzone Season 5 Reloaded, has made several community-requested quality of life changes and nerfed top weapons. But the main focus is on the short-range meta and giving players more variety in game modes with several fan-favorites from the Pacific era of Warzone.

Rebirth Island return

After listening to pleas from the community, Raven Software added Rebirth Island back into the weekly rotation with Fortune’s Keep available at all times. Greatly increased squad sizes for both maps are also a nice addition.

When a player dies in the Battle Royale mode, they are sent back to Rebirth Island. This is where they will choose their next character and have all of their items returned. You can also buy weapons and gear while you’re here.

The Armaguerra 43 has been making some improvements to it’s game following the balancing changes in Season 4 and 5. 

With nerfs to its most popular competitors like the H4 Blixen and Marco 5, this Vanguard pocket-rocket should continue its rapid upward trajectory.

Cooper Carbine

The Cooper Carbine is a popular choice for Warzone Vanguard-era players, and was nerfed in Season 2. However, it remained highly usable even after the nerf. This AR features an amazing fire rate that lets you dispense bullets very quickly. The recoil-based nerf in the original Season 4 update couldn’t hold it back from the top three placements, and stayed there into Season 5 Reloaded.

MP-40

The ‘MP-40’ is still one of the most popular weapons in Warzone when it comes to picking and choosing a weapon. It has been nerfed multiple times, and even fell off the list for a time, but is back at number three now thanks to some major nerfs to other weapons.

UGM-8

The UGM-8 is currently one of the best LMGs out there, thanks to its better handling and fire rate. The result is a mid-range monster that can easily challenge other ARs, and comes with a little recoil but no ADS time for an LMG.

Grau 5.56

The Grau is a medium range weapon that can be used for short or long ranged attacks. With its iron sights, negligible recoil, and decent range, it’s one of the best military guns in Warzone right now.

3-Line Rifle

The 3-Line Rifle is a sniper rifle for Warzone players following the major nerfs that accompanied Season 3. It’s faster and more forgiving then the HDR, making it a much better choice for players.

XM4

The XM4 was the strongest gun in ‘Black Ops Cold War‘, which made it a strong weapon in Warzone 2. When it got nerfed in other games, it still remained a strong player on this list, and looks set to stay there as the new era of Warzone is ushered in.

Modern Warfare 2 is the latest Call of Duty release and it’s been a long-awaited one. The players are eager to find out all they can about the game modes, but while standard multiplayer and a Campaign are pretty safe bets, others like Zombies, Spec Ops and Ranked Play are far from guaranteed. For example, both competitive CoD fans and noncompetitive ones have been asking for information about Ranked Play and how it will work in Modern Warfare 2. MW 2 Ranked Play: When Will It Release?

Modern Warfare 2 is releasing on October 28, with Warzone 2.0 following the next month on November 16. Ranked Play could be included in the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II but there is not enough time between the two releases for it to happen.

MW 2: What Will The Game Modes Be Like?

Modern Warfare 2, the successor to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is expected to have a ranked mode shortly after launch. Some CoDs do not get a ranked mode at all until months after release.  The latest leaks indicate that MW2 will feature a ranked mode, which is set to be released after the game’s launch. Treyarch will be leading development on the project.

MP40 Perks & Equipment

Our loadout includes perks like EOD and Amped, which both protect your character from explosive blasts and increase your weapon swap speeds respectively. You need to choose your loadout carefully. If you are playing the Warzone mode, then you should take Overkill instead of Ghost with the MP40 as the weapon doesn’t perform well at long-range. If you have a Sniper like the ZRG 20mm or an STG44 AR is essential; if not, then you should consider taking Grau 5.56, Cooper Carbine, NZ-41, and UGM-8 are all incredibly powerful.

Unlocking the MP40 in Warzone and Vanguard is rather straightforward. It only requires players to reach Rank 16 in the Pacific season. 

Alternative to MP40 warzone loadout

The MP40 is a top-tier Vanguard SMG, but many players still opt for the OTs-9. This powerful weapon is absolutely lethal at close-range and is perfect for players who prefer to take aggressive gunfights rather than hold a single position. The OTs-9’s pick rate certainly isn’t the highest in Season 5 Reloaded; it doesn’t mean the SMG doesn’t pack a punch.
